ADVANCED MEDICAL BILLING I & II

Course description:
This course will prepare you to become a Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS). Studies will focus on facilitating the claims paying process from the time service is rendered by the health care provider until the balance is paid. CMRS knowledge will include ICD9, CPT4, HCPCs, and Medical Terminology.
Session II will include appeals, denials, fraud, and abuse, as well as HIPPA, OIG, and web terminology. Dates: Cancelled
Day of Week: (M-W-TH) 10 weeks; 30 hrs. per session
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
