Dental Assisting

In the Dental Assisting program, students learn to work in cooperation with dentist in the care and treatment of patients. Along with basic dental laboratory procedures, students learn dental terminology, use of instruments and equipment, x-ray procedures, preparation of dental materials, as well as dental office management skills. As a dental assistant, you will perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. If you enjoy working with people and have strong communication skills, the Dental Assisting program will be a rewarding experience.
