What are the graduation requirements at the R. G. Drage Career Technical Center?
Students who attend R. G. Drage still graduate from their home school district and must meet the requirements of that district.

Can my child still be involved in activities at the home school?
Students at R. G. Drage are encouraged to participate in sports, band, and other extracurricular activities at their home schools!
Fees & Transportation
While there are no fees to attend RG Drage, students may be subject to costs associated with tools and/or uniforms. These fees will vary with the program selected.
Each member district (Fairless, Louisville, Malvern, Minerva, Northwest, and Tuslaw) provides bus transportation for students attending RGDrage.
What academic course offerings are available at the R. G. Drage Career Technical Center?
RG Drage offers all levels of academic core courses including offerings for College Credit Plus. These courses fulfill graduation requirements.
What is a typical day like for a student who is enrolled in a Career Technical Center program?
Career & Technical students spend approximately half of the school day in their career program labs. Students then spend the remainder of the day completing academic and/or program-related coursework. The required courses are determined by the career program choice.
What if I need to take a class that is not offered at R. G. Drage?
Scheduling is flexible and every effort is made to accommodate schedule requests with the home school, as well as the college campus, when applicable. Transportation is not provided for those students who create a unique schedule.
What evidence is there that graduates who have taken Career Technical studies have advantages in the job market over other graduates?
A recent large scale study of 13,000 Ohio Career Technical graduates found that seven years after high school, the Career Technical graduates earned significantly more money than a comparable group of Non-career Tech graduates, and the earnings gap between the two groups appeared to widen with time.
What If I want to go to college?
Students can take advantage of many opportunities to earn college credit while attending RG Drage. And, by taking the necessary college prep courses, students are prepared and encouraged to further their education beyond high school.
What college credit opportunities exist at RG Drage?
Students at RG Drage can receive college credit through College Credit Plus and/or Articulation Agreements with colleges and universities. In addition, students may pursue entrance into the Zip to an Associate Degree program, available through the University of Akron.
